Ms. Nada Abdul Rahim
Is the Economic and Commercial Attaché of the Belgian Embassy in Beirut covering Lebanon for Belgium's three Regions and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and Jordan for the Brussels-Capital Region and Luxembourg. She speaks Arabic, French, English and Spanish and has recently started learning Dutch (Flemish). She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (visual media) from the American University in Washington DC. Prior to Lebanon, Ms Abdul Rahim was posted in Kuwait where she served from 1984 to 1997 covering Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. Before beginning her career with Belgium, she worked in the field of advertising in Lebanon. Ms Abdul Rahim has over 20 years of experience in promoting Belgian trade and trade related interests and has organised a large number of trade missions over the years, including economic missions headed by H.R.H. the Crown Prince of Belgium.
Her responsibilities include promoting economic interests of Belgium and Luxembourg in the host country, providing economic information and analysis of economic development, assisting visiting Belgian business people, etc.
